HSE Management System
At Ironfield Engineering Sdn. Bhd., Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) are integral to the way we work. As a trusted structural and piping fabrication contractor for the oil and gas sector, we maintain the highest standards of HSE across all levels of our operations. Our HSE Management System is embedded within our business framework and reflects our proactive, prevention-driven approach.
POLICY

Ironfield Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is committed to delivering high-quality fabrication and engineering services that meet or exceed client expectations. Our Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC) system is designed to ensure that all work is executed in full compliance with applicable standards, codes, and project specifications.
QA/QC policy — core principles

Emphasis is placed on defect prevention through planning, procedures, and controls rather than relying solely on end-product inspection.

Inspection & testing procedures
Our QA/QC department follows structured inspection and testing protocols throughout the project lifecycle, including:
Incoming Material Inspection
Verification of material certificates, dimensions, and compliance with project specifications.
In-Process Inspections
Fit-up, welding, dimensional, and alignment checks performed at controlled stages.
Welding Quality Control
WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications per ASME/AWS standards. Weld visual inspection and dimensional verification.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Coordinated with certified third-party NDT agencies (RT, UT, MPI, DPI) as per client requirements.
Hydrostatic & Pneumatic Testing
Pressure testing of piping spools, tanks, or vessels as specified in the ITP (Inspection & Test Plan).
Final Inspection & Documentation
Comprehensive review of all deliverables, traceability records, and quality dossiers prior to client handover.
